We learn a lot about Jamie Sullivan in these chapters. Do a character analysis of Jamie in which you consider the following acronym: STEAL.
The S stands for speech--what do Jamie's words reveal about her?

The E stands for effects on others--what sorts of reactions do other characters have toward Jamie?
The A stands for actions--what do Jamie's actions suggest about her?
The L stands for looks--what does Jamie's appearance suggest about her?
S-her words reveal that she is very warm hearted and loves everyone.

E-They dont like the way she is because she is big hearted.
A-that she is going to get somewere in life and that she would do anything for anyone.
L-that she is very up with god and she really does not care what she looks like to other people.
S - her words show that she cares

A - very big hearted and knows what she wants in life
L - clothes that cover her body but she could care less what people think about her
S-She put her life in the hands of God. She always says that God planned it if something suprising happens. She totally trusts in him.
ReplyDeleteT-Landon thinks that Jamie is an innocent and completely good person. He believes that she could be an angel.
E-Others think of her as an outsider. She acts differently and she dresses differently than the average of the modern teenagers. They often are surprised by the way she is responsive to things they say or do, because they don't know a lot about her.
A-Her actions show that she wants to give something of what God gave her to others. She wants to use her life and the power she has to support others and to make their lives more enjoyable.
L-Jamie doesn't dress like everyone else. She wears comfortable, but not expensive or modern clothes and she definitely doesn't attach
importance to what others think about her appearance. That suggests that she concentrates on the more essential things of life.
S- her speach is very soft and gentle

S- She's a firm believer in God and she believes everything happens for a reason.

A- She is kind-hearted, she cares about everyone and is very religious.
L- Looks aren't important to her and she prefers the more simple things in life.
S- She's caring and wants to prove that she isnt fallin under some disease, she's just the same as she once was.
