Week of 11/15-11/19 ch. 5-10

Jamie believes that God has a master plan for her. She believes that the course of life is predetermined by a higher power--in other words, we don't have control over our own destineys. Do you believe we have control over our own destineys....or do you believe that the courses of our lives are determined from the moment we are born? Explain your answer.

    I think that every person has control over its own destiny. People are free to make decisions and no one can prevent them from doing so. People might have certain skills or abilities that make some things easier for them. But if someone, for example, makes the choice to go to college, even if this person is a bad student and doesn't have any good grades, he/she could still make it if he/she studied hard enough.
    Another factor that influences someone's future is the parents. The way children are raised has a great impact on how they act or think about thíngs. Usually kids take over the parent's point of view, their values and priorities in life. This will lead again to the choices people make.

    i think that our destiny is determined from the point we are born i mean god might have a master plan for us but whether we choose to except it is our own decision

    I totally agree with Dakota. I think that we dont have control over our destiny. We dont know whats going to happend in the future and our decideions we make know determine where well be later in life.

    i think we have control over our own destiny. The only thing we have no control over is death. everything between your birth and your death is what you make of it.

    I think everyone chooses their own destiny.I believe that every parent probley has their own expectations for their children so in a sense they have our lives predetermined.I believe in the end that we make our own destiny by making our own decisions for our lives.

    I belive that we have control over our own destiny, but at the same time it might already be determined. For example if something was ment to happen, and you did something to stop it you could look at it two different ways. One is that it was destined for you to stop it or that it was determined not to happend. I think that its almost the samething if we have control of our destiny or if its determined for us. Either way its going to happend.

    I believe that God chooses our destiny. I believe God is the higher power. God knows exactly what we're going to do way before we're even born. I believe we make decisions that reflect on our destiny but I do not believe we have control over our destiny. God has our plan for us. He knows every word we'll say and every step we'll take. He is the one true God.

    we can contorl our lives by choosing the pathes that we make but getting there is our choice. god can tell us which is the right way but we dont have to take it but choice to make your own disteny. i also believe that we can't our deathes.

    i think that our life is planed for us before we are born. He plans on who our parents are going to be, who we fall in love with, what we are going to do with our life, when we are going to die and why. He knows all.

    I believe that we have control over our on destiny because it is our own life and we have control over what we do in life, no matter if its bad or good its always going to be up to ourselves.

    i believe that we dont have control over our destiny, because things happen for a reason. to me if things were ment to be, its ment to be. even if things dont happen when you want it to, just waiting and the time will come. no matter if its good or bad it happens.

    I dont think that we have control over what happens when our time comes. I believe that if you do good, and dont do stupid things then you will be earned with great things when its time for you to kick the bucket ;P

    I believe that we do have destineys, but also that we can control them. I think we are meant to control our destiny in way to where it works out as planned. We can do anything which means anything is possible. So I don't really agree or disagree with either. Life is life.

    I think our destineys are chosen the moment we're born. God has our plan for all of us. Yes we make our decisions but God is directing all of them and in the end it's about where our destiny was meant to be all along. We don't have control over it. God decides our destiny.
